Accelerated Aging Testing
In order to establish how well or how long a polymeric material will operate in various applications, it is put through accelerated aging experiments. Accelerated aging helps material designers, engineers, and quality control personnel select materials that will maintain their properties over time while being exposed to heat, pressure, or chemical attack. Elevating test temperatures can expedite the loss of physical properties or chemistry caused by thermal and oxidative aging. Karax offers a range of ovens and aging tools for performing air aging, fluid aging, and environmental exposure aging. Using accelerated aging data, Karax may perform service life and shelf-life forecast studies.
